Creative Outlet

Our vision for The Hideout is to always hold space for a creative release. Each Hideout will offer unique and different activities from life drawing to still life, from pot painting to crafting. The dream is to have the creative vein running through The Hideout from retreat to retreat, however, each time being new and unique. Yoga, treatments and holistic practises running alongside.

We feel the importance for self care is going within and from within to looking out. Using your hands physically crafting, gardening, cooking or whatever your creative outlet may be, can work wonders on your mind and reduce feelings of stress. It can improve your mood and even effect how your brain works. In our opinion, these are all forms of meditation in their own right and therefore providing self-care.

Emily Rogers is a British painter and studied Fine Art at Leeds Arts University for three years, graduating in 2018. Wanting to develop her painting skills further, Emily moved to Florence, Italy, and began studying at Charles H Cecil Studios. Here, she learnt the old masters technique of 'sight-size', whereby the sitter is observed. Teaching life drawing classes, Emily helps you loose yourself in the craft.
